Cappadocia is a unique gift of the nature to human. The lava, tuffs, basalt sprayed by the old volcanic mountains Hasan and Erciyes, etched by the wind and rain after a while. So the shapes called "Fairy Chimneys" were formed. In Cappadocia various different civilizations settled for thousand years and this is the most important point that sets Cappadocia from the others.

People excavated these tuff stones and made the Fairy Chimneys a place to live. They lived, produced, hid and created work of art in here. They built churches which are very important for the early Christianity and made icons which are illustrious even today. There are many underground cities in Cappadocia. Especially in danger time they could hid and live in these cities for months. The most famous ones are Kaymakli Underground city and Derinkuyu Underground city. There are 8 floors down and 150meters. How people lived underground 2 thousand years ago can be visible.

Cappadocia is a very wide area in Turkey. It is located in the center or Turkey (Anatolia) and includes 3 cities: Kayseri, Nevsehir and Nigde. It is very easy to travel to Cappadocia. There are very modern airports both in Kayseri and Nevsehir. Flights are available from Izmir and Istanbul. Then after an hour drive you will reach to the heart of Cappadocia. You will need minimum 3 full days to visit Cappadocia.

The main places that can be visited are Zelve, Ihlara Valley, Goreme Open Air Museum, Devret Valley, Uchisar Rock-Castle, Esentepe, Belisirma Village, Soganli Valley, Sobesos. You can also take a balloon ride to see Cappadocia in a shorter time. Early in the morning the pilots prepare the balloons and at the sunrise hundreds of balloons take of at the same time. It is an unforgettable view to see the colorful balloons on the sky together with the fascination Cappadocia views.
